The South Florida history began in 1974 when Raffaele and Maria Abbenante immigrated from the tiny Italian island known as Ponza. Together, they began selling pizza by the slice in Lake Worth, Florida. Using her Mom’s traditional Italian recipes, Maria introduced flavors of Italy to South Florida.
Over the next 35 years, the Abbenante family served thousands of locals and visitors and quickly, Lynora’s became known as the Best Italian restaurant in South Florida.
On most days you might catch a glimpse of Maria who is still in the kitchen at Lynora’s restaurant preparing your dinner. You are invited to experience the full flavors of Italy whether cooking with Lynora’s products in your home with your own family or in one of Lynoras locations with ours!
I stopped at Lynora’s during my daytrip for the Art Palm Beach show. It’s located within walking distance of both the Convention Center and the Brightline station, and of course the other bars on Clematis. Since the Palm Beach Boat Show was also this weekend, the restaurant was packed. However, I lucked out in getting a seat at the bar. There are a couple of TV’s if you want to catch a game, or you can chat up with the other patrons.
Even with a packed house, service was very attentive!
Besides beer & wine, their cocktail menu leans more to gin and vodka and thus I enjoyed an espresso martini. It was well blended, and with the subtle sweetness of the coffee I didn’t need a dessert.
I figured going off their happy hour / tapas menu would give me a good variety and not feel too bad at the gym the next day. Their cannelloni al forno, recommended by a fellow bar diner, is a star. Take a plate with a nice bed of bolognese sauce (add extra if you’re me just because) and enjoy two tender canneloloni with a cheesy bechamel and garnish.
Be sure to also try their lightly breaded Arancino packed with risotto with a generous helping of ,marinara sauce. Enjoy that delicious snack as well!

We held a bridal shower for my daughter on a Saturday afternoon in the private upstairs room at Lynora’s on Clematis and it was perfect!
Elaina the coordinator was a pleasure to work with setting up everything. The room is beautiful and the flowers she had made based on my inspiration bouquet were gorgous. I especially liked the personalized neon sign and menu. The food and service was wonderful – we had our own bartender/server Jovan and he was attentive and did a great job. I would definitely hold another event here — it really was top-notch!
Came for brunch with some friends and we had a great time! We got a bunch of food that everyone said was great. I was really happy to see there was the vegan pizza option for me that was also good! Our server Christian G was very helpful and always made sure that our bottomless mimosa glasses were full! Good place to come for a Sunday brunch that may just turn into a day drinking event.
Sunday brunch turns into a club around 1pm!
You cannot make brunch reservations for groups less than 6 people. We arrive around noon and had an hour wait for a table outside.
Food was great, service was slow (understandably because there was a hundred people at the bar).
If you are looking for a boozy bottomless brunch with a DJ, confetti, and CO2 cannons, then this is the right spot!
I dont do this often… but, 5 stars all the way. Delicious homemade Italian food. we sat at bar and enjoyed the food and all the action this place brings. had the lobster shrimp ravioli, bruschetta, eggplant parmigiana & Caesar salad. All perfect. If you are in West Palm Beach… take a break from the beach and go here if you are craving homemade Italian food.
