idk. i feel like this place has potential but i didn’t get to see that. the place smelt good but that’s the only good thing from my experience tonight. the service was lousy. i don’t even think i got my waitress’s name. the food came out quick although my calamari was gross. too much flaky breading and no taste to the calamari.
the salad was super soggy and salty
the garlic bread wasn’t even edible with the amount of spices on it
my pasta was only average. i feel like it was all just thrown together with no proper preparation
i see so many positive reviews so i feel like i just had a bad night. sucks cause it was our first time
Had a lovely dinner outdoors with my aunt and uncle … quick visit as they passed through on their way to the keys. The meal was just what I needed after a crazy week at work! The pasta was very fresh! And the food was delicious!
Great outdoor seating… although they used to have more. I asked what happened to the big tent that let 10+ more tables be outside… landlord wanted to charge rent for the sidewalk. Shame on the landlord… during a pandemic!!
We were out having a staycation at the South Florida area and were craving for some freshly made pasta. Because it wouldn’t not make any sense to go to a restaurant and eat pasta from a box, would it?
After diligent googling and researching through Yelp!, we narrowed down to Agliolio and a couple other places. The positive reviews on Yelp! About Agliolio really caught our attention so we decided to give it a go!
[In fact, we called ahead to make a reservation on not so busy weekday afternoon and we showed up with full attention given by the nice waitress!]
We chose to order from the Create Your Own “Pasta-Bility” Menu. Aside from the salads, we ordered Eggplant Rollatini & Alfredo Fusilli and Eggplant Parmigiana & AGLIOLIO Conchiglie. While the combination of the pasta and the respective sauces were to perfection, what separates this apart from the other boring ‘Italian restaurants’ of course were their freshly made pasta. They were incredibly tender to chew and even a novice Yelper can tell it was not cooked from a boxed pasta from Publix. The additional eggplant dishes we ordered made this impromptu meal even more fulfilling.
Pro: Excellent inexpensive, yet high class experience that will definitely draw me back!
Hope you go and try for yourself!
Definitely an unique style of Italian restaurants. Very creative and reasonable priced. Very good service.
First you chose a homemade pasta choice of 8 plus 3 wheat-free “Impastas” , next a hand crafted sauce, choice of 14. Choice of shrimp scampi, calamari Fra Diavolo, Cioppino, and Fruitta di mare. Plus a ton of mix in including all types of vegetables or seafood.
They have chicken done 5 ways, veal also 5 ways, eggplant3 ways plus salmon & shrimp dishes . Also pizzas.
My wife ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and I tried the Cioppino with shrimp. mussels, clams and calamari. Both very good and comes with tossed house salad and bread.
Definitely returning.
