Founded in 2011 by Elise and Rick Wetzel of Wetzel’s Pretzels, Blaze Pizza was modeled after Chipotle’s made-to-order approach to serving customers.
We’re the best place to grab a fast-fire’d pizza made with real ingredients that are free of artificial colors, flavors, preservatives and sweeteners. We’ve also got freshly made salads, house-made lemonades, and decadent, oven-fired desserts on the menu.
At every Blaze Pizza in Royal Palm Beach, we make our fresh dough from scratch using a proprietary recipe developed by Executive Chef Brad Kent (the “Pizza Whisperer”), which requires a 24-hour fermentation period to produce his signature light-as-air, crisp crust. For pizza fans with specific dietary needs, we also offer a house-made gluten-free dough, cauliflower gluten-free and keto crusts as well as vegan cheese. Choose any of our Signature Pizzas that were crafted by Chef Brad himself or Build Your Own and select your toppings ranging from classics, like pepperoni or sausage, to inventive, like artichokes or spicy vegan chorizo. At any Blaze Pizza in Royal Palm Beach, there’s no wrong way to play.
If you can’t swing by, order online or over the phone and we’ll be ready to fire up your perfect pizza for delivery or choose to pick up your order in-store or just stay in your car with curbside pickup (where available).
I like this type of pizza – all I can choose the stuffings. So, came to try it out. The crust was already flattened before I order and had been sitting on the racks, don’t know how long it had been. So, the crust was not that fresh. Not sure if that’s the reason why the crust lacked of texture.
The pizza burnt a bit on the crust and a little greasy. It tasted so so, not much flavor though. And somehow it didn’t have the smell that pizza should have. Normally pizza smells great, but not Blaze pizza. Not sure why.
My and my hubby ordered two pizzas, one each. We asked to add pasto on top afterwards, but they forgot. We had to go back to ask again. No cheese, crushed paper, tableware… etc. in public, had to ask for it.
I have had better pizza and better service at other similar place. Too bad, Blaze will not be my go-to pizza place.
We went to blaze at 9:20 on Friday night. Once we walked in, we were denied service from the staff. We were rudely told “we won’t serve you, we are too busy” and we’re closing the line early. I understand maybe 10 minutes early, but 40 minutes? Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never been denied service and told to leave. They had maybe 10 orders. I wonder if management was made aware of their staff deciding to deny customers just strictly based on laziness and not wanting to stay a minute past their closing time. By 9:20 they were already mopping and cleaning. Hope they got their wish and got out before their closing time. Hope upper management takes the appropriate action and trains their staff properly, because we won’t be returning.
When we walked in we decided to sit outside because the radio was too loud to converse over. Outside was quieter, but at times the noise from traffic was too loud to talk over.
The pizza was good, and I’m especially happy they make vegan pizza with dairy-free cheese. It’s unfortunate that you just have to guess the amount of time needed to make your pizza(s) before you go back to pick them up to take to your table (or home). An intercom system would be a great improvement.
There are two unisex bathrooms, but I had to use the bathroom that the door completely closed. (In fairness, later I saw one of the employees go into the bathroom where the door didn’t close all the way, but IT DOES close all the way…when I saw the employee SLAM the door closed.)
After using the bathroom where I could completely close the door, I found the soap dispenser didn’t dispense any soap! After I got frustrated and pushed the soap dispenser rapidly hard, a little soap was dispensed.
When I went to refill my cup with ice and soda, they were out of ice. The top of the ice container was removed so maybe they were about to manually refill the ice???, but when I looked for an employee to notify/ask about the ice everyone was busy behind the counter and the line was out the door! So, I just didn’t get a drink refill.
A friend and I went right as they opened, so the staff was still getting everything set up and prepared for the day. They still made sure that everyone that walked in was helped in a timely manner. Pizza came out in about 6 minutes. You can’t really go wrong with Blaze. I definitely recommend if you have an extra 20 minutes. I know I’ll be returning soon.
We went in today and used the 3/14 coupon that was offered a few days ago, I would have gone the same day but due to work I couldnt. I was pleasently surprised and thrilled to see the coupon lasted all month!. So today my mother and I went over and tried Blaze Pizza for the first time. From the start the employees were nice, and answered any questions that we had as well as offering suggestions etc.
The pizzas that we got were excellent, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I ordered a regular BYO and enjoyed every bit. The cooking process was quick and efficient, and we were not in there long. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the look inside as well as comfortable places to sit.
My mother had the new Garlic Lovers BYO, she is a cancer survivor who does not have all her taste buds, and struggles to enjoy many foods as she did at one time. Today she took a bite of the Pizza and said how delicious that it was and then ate it happily. I can still smell the garlic now, and BOTH pizzas looked and smelled delicious.
Simply a great experience start to finish, A+++ to everyone in that store my mother and I are now life long Blaze Pizza Fans
I don’t know why it has taken me so long to review this place! Blaze is one of my favorite if not absolute favorite pizza places around. I love the variety, thin crust and great fresh flavors of their ingredients. They are always super fast and the quality never lacks.
The people who work up front are always very friendly and it’s always clean inside. This is going to be a shorter review than some of my others because I really have nothing bad to say about this place I would give it 10 stars if I could.
