Flanigan’s is a laidback family-run restaurant anchored by a commitment to exceptional food and drink, warm hospitality, great value, and good fun. The founding vision of Joe “Big Daddy” Flanigan – a come one, come all, home-away-from-home for friends old and new – is alive and well today. Over the years, Flanigan’s evolved from popular Big Daddy’s lounges and liquor stores into a group of over 20 restaurants. An appreciation for shared meals with family and friends is at the heart of the Flanigan’s experience.
Flanigan’s is very much a local neighborhood spot, and we exist to serve each community in which we make our home. The design of our bars and restaurants is all about the island vibes and saltwater adventures that reflect our deep South Florida roots. Our walls are lined with memories of family and friends playing in their natural nautical element – fishing, diving, beaching, and boating.
And, oh yeah, those Legendary Baby Back Ribs…
This has to be the BEST Flannigan’s we’ve been to by far. My family and I are fairly new to this area and have been here several times, so a review is much needed. The place is clean, the staff is so friendly and efficient. We have two young kids and it is a very family friendly restaurant (but don’t forgot to order your drinks ) The food is wonderful as well!! The loaded nachos is a must. You can’t go wrong with the chicken pot stickers, wings, or ANY of their burgers. We look forward to trying out other menu items. The manager is constantly checking in on the customers, so friendly and attentive as well. My daughter left her little dolly in the booth and the manager we were speaking to earlier in the evening ran out to our car when we were backing out to let us know she left it. We will continue to visit and enjoy the service, ambiance, and great food.
Looking for something quick, good and a nice time. Flanigan’s is the place to go in Wellington. On Saturday/Sunday they have happy hour from 11 am until 7 pm, which includes 50 percent off beer wine and liquor.
Had the ribs and wings combo with fully loaded baked potato. They never disappoint.
Waitress was very attentive and they now have extra out door seating to put your nerves aside from covid.
You really cannot go wrong with Flanigan’s. The servers are always friendly & attentive. The food is great. There are a variety of menu options that never miss & the drink specials are nearly unbeatable. A friend & I decided to have dinner here on Sunday while catching the game. I expected the restaurant to be busy but the wait was longer than I generally expected. The manager Jamie assured us we would be attended to soon & explained how the kitchen was understaffed & backed up. Jamie was very kind, she made polite small talk with us & as she promised, we did not have to wait much longer before being seated at a table inside across from the bar.
Our waitress quickly brought us waters as we pondered over the menu. As appetizers we settled on the garlic rolls & the firecracker shrimp. The firecracker shrimp were delicious as always but this was my first time ordering the garlic rolls & I’m surprised I’ve been missing out this long. They were the best garlic rolls I’ve ever had, hands down. They will definitely become my go-to appetizer from this day forward.
As an entree I decided on the chipotle chicken stack sandwich with fries as my side. Portion size was huge, I’m proud I almost finished it. The chicken was seasoned nicely and I like that the chipotle sauce was put on the side so I could decide on how much I wanted to use. Overall I would order this dish again.
The drink specials for the day were phenomenal, however, I was highly disappointed in the taste of their ultimate margarita. I ordered a sweet tea to go which might as well had been an unsweet tea.
I will continue to patronize Flanigan’s.
Love Flanigan’s! This location is great! The staff always goes above and beyond! The food is always delicious! Huge shoutout to the manager (Samantha I believe) who went out of her way on a packed/busy Friday night to make our kids feel so special for completing the coloring challenge.
Are here last Thursday, kinda busy when we got there around 8pm but understandable since it’s a popular place. Our server was really nice, she was quick to greet us, checked on us at the perfect times, food was good as well! We didn’t wait long for our drinks from the bar either, but I could tell that they were busy. The timing from the apps to our entrees was great too. We of course spilt a dessert with the Kit Kats which was so yummy! I appreciate our server
Great collection of TV’s, fair prices, comfortable space. Highly recommend. Food quality on point, drinks a little weak but that’s to be expected when they measure everything. Place could be much cleaner, staff was very nice.
My 9 year old requested to dine at Flannigans for his birthday. We had a party of 8 and we’re initially told the wait time would be about 30 minutes, we waited a few minutes shy of an hour but it was no big deal. We were sat near the bar and placing appetizers and drink orders went smoothly. I informed the waited we had a birthday boy in tow and would so love it if they surprised him with a birthday shout. Food took a little longer than expected to come out, but it was delicious nonetheless. Our waiter did a nice job refilling our drinks and stopped by here and there to make sure we were doing ok while we waited for our food. The place was busy but not too busy. We did almost leave without having the birthday shout but in the last seconds they came through with a little desert and surprised the birthday boy. In the future I may steer away from the bar area and stick to seating in booths.
When you eat at Flannigan’s you cant go wrong. Between all the different priced meals, the inexpensive drinks, the happy go lucky staff and the packed environment it is always a good time. I love that bringing my family of 6 does not cost me an arm and a leg. My kids love the food the few arcade games that they have and the little stick fun they get when they walk in. I can enjoy my drink in peace, while my kids are enjoying themselves instead of bothering me. It seems like a win win for all if you ask me.
