Love love love this place! We have been to other locations and they are great but Lemongrass Wellington is the best one! The staff is amazing, the food is always super fresh and I love the atmosphere here! Their manager, Pan (I think that was her name) always makes sure we have everything we need and we had a great server tonight named Bill. Salmon Carpaccio is a treasure! We have been coming to this location from the beginning and it gets better with every visit!

This is a very nice restaurant with an outdoor patio located at the Wellington Mall (but with its own entrance).

We have come here a few times for dinner in the last years, and would normally sit at their sushi bar whose staff was always happy to answer any question you might have about the food.

A couple of days ago however we went to try their Happy Hours: as usual, we went in for “just a drink and a bite”, but at the end we tried almost everything on their HH menu (and didn’t need any dinner…).

Their cocktails are good, and just $8. The white wine was ok, but at $4/glass you can’t really complain. Most “bites” on their Happy Hour menu are $5, and the portions were more than just “bites”. The Tuna Tataki was maybe a little too watery, but I loved the Chicken Satay and the Salmon California Roll.

Another nice feature that this restaurant has is that the Happy Hour menu is also served at the tables!

Lemongrass is a large, clean looking Asian fusion restaurant located in the Wellington Mall.

They have a separate sushi and sashimi bar of good quality. I also tried and liked the Ramen, a big bowl rich in flavors.

What maybe many don’t know, by the look of it, is that Lemongrass also has a pretty good Happy Hours deal, compared to many others in the area.
Beside discounted prices on wine/beer and cocktails, they also offer a happy hours menu, which allows you to taste a few of their regular dishes, just in smaller portions.

The offering is not bad at all. First cocktails were good, my wife loved the Japanese white peach cocktail (vodka based) and my margarita was one of the best I had in the area, without the overly syrupy and sweet taste of the margarita mix.

We also had some white wines, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay; while not the best wines we ever had, they were decent and at $ 4 per glass, can you really complain?

As for happy hours dishes, we tried the Tuna Tataki (a bit watery, but overall good), the chicken satay, which was really good (try it with their peanuts sauce, very particular but I also liked it just with soy sauce), the salmon California rolls (very good) and the Bao Bun pork belly, probably the appetizer that impressed us the least (unless I got a unlucky draw and got the only 100% piece of pork fat).

Overall, you could find better ramen somewhere in PB County, but theirs is right up there. Sushi and sashimi are good and taste fresh.

The happy hours deals, honestly are tough to beat in Wellington, especially because of the generous wine discounts and the addition of an actual food menu also provided at very good prices.

Service was good for us. At times the waitress would be somewhere else, but we don’t need waiting staff jumping all over the place and super quick service; we go out to chill, so it’s difficult that we consider service “bad”.

Obviously, being in the mall, parking is not an issue, so that’s another little plus.

Definitely a place to go back and now one of the targets for happy hours in Wellington.

I’ve been going to the lemongrass in boynton since it opened and it never disappoints. Saturday was the first time I’d ever gone to the one in Wellington.

Now my three stars are mostly based on service, as we arrived at around 12:30 and didn’t leave till almost 3pm. From waiting to get our server’s attention, to the very long wait for the food, I truly wasn’t too thrilled.

Now the quality of food is and was on point, like always, but I was sadly disappointed on the food turn around and overall service.

I won’t give up on them though. It might have been a n off day. I hope I can update this review later down the road with a better experience at this location.

Lemongrass will always have a soft spot in my heart! I have eaten at Lemongrass for years and this would be the 3rd location of theirs that I have dined at. They really nailed down their skill when it comes to food. Whether it’s a poke bowl, a noodle soup, or sushi, I know it’ll hit the spot.

I have tried so many sushi rolls from Lemongrass and they are all really good. If you’re looking for a recommendation, I would suggest getting their appetizer, the spicy tuna crispy rice. It isn’t a roll but it is on deep fried sushi rice and it’s amazing here. I am also a fan of their tom kha soup, the octopus and conch salad, their dumplings, and their pad thai.

I love coming during lunch because you get to order off their lunch menu. It comes with an appetizer and it’s under $15. The Wellington location is right in the Wellington Green mall circle but not attached to the physical mall. They are very clean and the interior of the restaurant is comforting. They have a large geisha art wall that I love to look at but also TV’s throughout so you can keep yourself entertained. I’ve been to this location a few times and service is always great.
