About Panera
Panera began in 1987 as St. Louis Bread Company, a humble community bakery founded with a sourdough starter from San Francisco and a dream of putting a loaf of bread in every arm. This is the first Panera Bread I visited a long time ago and is still my favorite one.
We tried almost everything on their menu by now and haven’t had any complaint so far: actually, in my opinion they make the best Panera soufflés!
The staff is polite, and I always found the place clean.
They also have a small outdoor patio, and since the place is located in the Wellington Mall’s area, there is always plenty of parking available.
Our first delivery was a disaster but 4 subsequent ones have been almost OK. Food arrives in a timely manner with proper packaging and no delivery charge so we tip the driver generously on-line. We were told we will get a free sandwich and salad the next time we order pick-up but they will not honor that on delivery orders. The freebies are to replace the awful items we got on our first order so we will see if that actually happens.
Soups are very good, breads are excellent, salads are adequate except very skimpy toppings – predominantly lettuce – and sandwiches are fine.
We order because the app is user friendly and delivery is free and quick – food is, at best, OK.
Nice location (10540 Forest Hill Blvd. by The Wellington Green Mall) and staff, if you are looking for a place with fresh food for breakfast and lunch, this is your place.
Not having being able to input my telephone # in my Panera account, asked one of the Assistant Managers (Christian) if he could help me. It was in the middle of busy breakfast time. He was kind enough to find time in the busy store to give me the right telephone number to call and have my account updated with my telephone number in no time.
I commend him for going out of his way to assist me with my request. Good asset for the corporation.
Awesome ordering process and curbside pickup. Food was great. They brought our complex order out right when we got to the curb. They know what they’re doing and it shows.
I ordered an Asian sesame chicken salad. It was good and an payaya, passion fruit green tea. It was very refreshing. The blueberry scones are very good. The food was served fast.
