Loved visiting PB Catch. The seafood was super fresh. Had a variety of oysters. The apple and cucumber dressing was different and refreshing. Cocktail shrimp was amazing and the mahi sandwich was so light and flavorful. Loved the pear martini. The watermelon margarita was a lil too sweet for me. But overall enjoyed my visit. Ambiance is nice, low light, perfect for date night. And I was able to get street parking right out front.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Palm
Beach. The service is always sensational and the food never fails to prove spectacular. The presentation of each dish is impressive. They have a very nice wine list and of course, valet parking.

This is great place to dine and drink with friends or if you’re out in a date.

    Be sure to
Try the Chilean Sea Bass and their fish dip. You won’t be disappointed.

The manager and our server, Trey, were remarkable as always.

I figured this might be a typical one and done overpriced Palm Beach restaurant but I was wrong. We came in at 6:30 on New Year’s Eve. We order drinks and checked out the menu which has lots of nice features. I ordered the PB Spicy Martini and it was perfect! My boyfriend and I split a Seacuterie Board and got the fish dip, Sea Bass jerky, and Octopus. All were delicious but we will definitely be back for that fish dip. It was so tasty. We each ordered the Black Grouper and it was a good sized portion. It was tender and simply wonderful. The sauce, the succotash, and the white cheddar risotto squares were amazing accompaniments. My friends enjoyed their tuna and sea bass dinners also. I finished off with a rumchata capuccino which was a perfect ending. Next time we will indulge and try the desserts.

Eating outdoors is new and lovely. Indoors is nice too. We’ve been there a few times in the last few weeks. We like to share the bluefish dip as a starter. Dale likes stone crabs but is happy with most everything. I like their hamburgers. Everything is good as is service. Dale says it’s her favorite restaurant in Palm Beach

Went to happy hour here and it was great! 4:30pm to 6:00pm every day! 2 for 1 drinks and $6 appetizers you definitely cannot go wrong here. Dinners are typically pricey but you are in the island do it’s expected. The restaurant decor is cool and modern but very classy. Definitely a good date night. The food is also great here. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to more pear martinis and some of that mussel toast it was yummy! Can’t wait to make this my go to spot for happy hour. I forgot to take a pic of the martinis because I was too busy having fun. They do have other daily specials so it worth a visit at least once! The waiters are usually good. This is my first dedicated happy hour here.

My Grading System: 5 Stars = Perfect; 4 Stars = Very Good (but if I have any kind of complaint, 1 star is automatically removed); 3 Stars = Average; 2 Stars = Not Good (but there was at least something redeeming); 1 Star = Terrible

    PB Catch = 5 Stars
My husband and I went to PB Catch last night to celebrate his birthday and to say we were blown away is an understatement. They get 5 stars because they were perfect – I don’t have a single critique. The food, service and atmosphere were all exceptional. In fact, we both said this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had.

    What we ordered:
    – Traditional Margaritas made with Casamigos Tequila (Made with fresh juice and our favorite tequila, what’s not to love?)
    – Burrata Salad (I loved the grilled balsamic red onions with it – a new & flavorful twist for me)
    – Ceasar Salad (My husband’s order. We both said the lettuce was crisp, dressing had some tanginess – which is always a must for us – and the parmesan was plentiful. A classic salad done well.)
    – Large Stone Crab Claws (Beautiful presentation, very fresh & the mustard sauce was rich and tangy. Such a treat!)
    – New Zealand Rack of Lamb (My main course. The lamb was flavored well & cooked to perfection. It had a delicious poblano chimichurri to accompany it as well as blackened roasted cauliflower.)
    – Whole Yellowtail Snapper (light, flaky & fresh – husband chose sherry vinaigrette as his sauce and was very impressed)
    – Papas Bravas (Husband’s added side dish. Crispy potatoes with a paprika/herb sauce – delicious!)

It’s a seafood restaurant, sort of. The menu of fish dishes, without committing to a fish for a table? About four. All delicious, mind you. They have chicken beef, lamb and vegan dishes that are outstanding, as well as a massive raw bar.

The menu of Seacuterie, cured fish small plates, allows for some interesting adventures. If you’re rich enough to have a DUNS number then their raw platters won’t cause your piggy bank to squeal too much.

The Chilean Seabass was outstanding. Pricey, at $55, but well presented and perfectly cooked.

The hangar steak had a Moroccan-style chimichurri tgat was truly signature on a steak frites plate that was a ten.

The oysters were amazing. Star of the meal. The light colored mignonette was exceptional. The other two, an overly sharp red wine, and, ugh, the ski mask of oyster toppings, cocktail sauce, were both sub par.

The bar is well stocked. The bartender was disappointing. Some have mad skills. His are sad skills.

I asked if he could make me a Sazarac with an orange peel instead of lemon. A bar of this caliber should pull it off. The watery thing that arrived was a drowning victim of shaky competence, no twist. When I asked the waiter for an orange peel I got two hastily plated orange slices. I felt like tipping the bartender with a game of Clue, so he might finally have one.

Our waiter was super attentive, and pleasant. Perhaps it’s a bit of deafness from working in a dining room that rivals a Pratt & Whitney wind tunnel, but he had to keep coming back to repeat parts of our order. The raw bar lost our ticket. When he arrived with double our order, I realized that it’s a tough room to work.

Kudos to the manager for not asking how our meal was with our faces full of food. You know that you aren’t going to hear too many complaints with food like this.

Elegant digs with killer ambiance bode well for a great meal. Walk into the main dining room with a classic bar, and the dining room filled with gabby snow vultures, during season, does work against the vibe a bit.

Not as bad as at other island eateries, where you could fire a howitzer and not hear it over Joan’s lengthy lament that her experience got the house in Martha’s Vineyard and how she’s been forced to slum her summers in Fire Island.

Still, this place is ridiculously pricey, even for tony, crony Palm Beach. I get better oysters at Fern Street Wine Bar for half the price. Likewise I can get a phenomenal Sea Bass for a quarter to half the price at many places across the bridge.

When your board of fare soars past the island’s killer B’s, Boloud and Buccan, it was fun, but this is a one and done.

    Out.
