My wife and I went here for the first time this afternoon for lunch. I had very high expectations and they delivered. Food was excellent, service was very good, and decor was nice. We ordered way more than we needed and every dish was fresh, original, and authentic. We ordered appetizer sampler and Tom Kha to start which we highly recommend both. Then, we ordered shrimp pad thai, beef vegetable garden, and volcano duck. All were sublime but the volcano duck was the star of the main plates. The Tom Kha was the star of the entire meal. Every spoonful of that coconut soup kept us wanting one more taste.
Great food served by friendly people in a nice atmosphere at fair pricing is what to expect here. The fact that this place is so close to home could be very dangerous!
This is an Asian Fusion restaurant that has a very large and extensive menu. I have had Massamam Curry in every Thai restaurant I’ve visited. I 1st had it in NY, loved it & then had it in other Thai restaurants, the most recent in Lake Worth. The flavor was excellent & there was plenty of chicken. There was so much I had dinner the following evening.
Location is between Strathmore and Neighborhood Wal-Mart. Wanting to try something new for us, we stopped by early evening.I had a small soup bowl and spring rolls. My wifes meal was plentiful and equally delicious. We will return soon.
We tried this place tonight. What a wonderful experience. It was superb from the greeting to our exit. The food was fresh. Served in a very attractive manner and very tasty. We ordered spicy food that was served with the exact amount of spice as requested. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. We will be returning on a. routine basis.
TaOne is located in the shopping center next to the upscale Wycliffe country club community. A small restaurant with no special decor but oh, the Asian food is just great. My wife and I had dinner on Saturday evening and though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated right away. This was one of many return visits. The wait for dinner was a little longer but not a problem for us. Our waiter came to our table and apologized for the delay with a lovely platter of seaweed salad with shaved veggies and a special dressing. When our dinner came out, it was well worth waiting for. I had the seafood pasta, consisting of jumbo shrimp, sea scallops and squid, served over Asian noodles, veggies and a delicate sauce. The seafood just melted in my mouth. My wife had the Hawaiian medley with all the same seafood, less the noodles served in a half pineapple. Both courses were large, but I didn’t want it to end.. When the bill was presented, the waiter again apologized for the delay ( we never once indicated that we were unhappy) and said my beer was complimentary. The seaweed salad and the beer were small gestures which said a lot. Our tab was $46 plus tax and tip. Our entrees were, I believe the most expensive on the menu
